This week, ABC’s newest crop of entertainers vowing to “wow” fans with ballroom dancing and flair were announced! They include (as stated on CBSnews.com):
1. Elizabeth Berkley (“Saved by the Bell,” “Showgirls”) — paired with Val Chmerkovskiy.
2. Corbin Bleu (“High School Musical”) — paired with Karina Smirnoff.
3. Brian Daugherty (“Pretty Little Liars”) — paired with Peta Murgatroyd.
4. Bill Engvall (comedian) — paired with Emma Slater.
5. Valerie Harper (“The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “Rhoda”) — Tristan MacManus.
6. Keyshawn Johnson (former NFL player) — paired with Sharna Burgess.
7. Christina Milian (singer/”The Voice” personality) — paired with Mark Ballas.
8. Bill Nye (“Bill Nye the Science Guy”) — paired with Tyne Stecklein.
9. Jack Osbourne (son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne) — paired with Cheryl Burke.
10. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (“Jersey Shore,” “Snooki & JWoww”) — paired with Sasha Farber.
11. Leah Remini (“The King of Queens”) — paired with Tony Dovolani.
12. Amber Riley (“Glee”) — paired with Derek Hough.
As the show begins its seventh season, “DWTS” has featured some of the biggest names in music, movies and reality television. The show chronicles each star as they endure hardship, pain and triumph to be transformed into stars who can glide across a dance floor with ease, poise and finesse.
